one month ago...

Yesterday was great: at last We had sun and the perfect May weather, here in Bologna.
So, beloved roses, this is your month: bloom and colour the streets.

I took a long walk, from home to the the top of San Luca's hill. There is a long Arcade from the bottom until the top of the hill, thant links the Meloncello Arc to the Basilica.

Lots of people were walking, running, taking pictures, as I did (walking, running, taking pictures). From the pathway you can have a nice view over part of Bologna historical centre and the flat Po valley.
And You can see the Bolognesi Hills at their best.
From the Basilica the landcape was stunning! he highest Appennino Mountains were still white. Lokking at the Po valley You could easy see the Alps Mountains.
It is so strange that just around the corner We have a Heaven like this: only ten minutes from the town...



Hope Everybody could enjoy this environment...even my little nephew that today is One month old! Happy month sweet and lovely Letizia. Your adoring Uncle will bring You here as soon as possible.

Dinner

I love good food and good wine. I like cooking and I often cook fish - when I find it fresh at the market.
Some days ago I had a not so good time at work (this is one of that time of the year that I think I'd better plough the fields)...so I took some hours of vacation as I need to leave the office.
As I can't just lay down on the sofa - I know I have a strange idea of relax - I went to the market, bought some fish too - I returned home with four heaped shopping bags - and I started cooking, while I was drinking a cold and strong Caipirinha I prepared at first.
The dinner was very good and nothing left over.

1) i am a dreamer. I often "fly" aways even when people talk to me (especially at work). So don't worry if i sometimes look lost;
2) i can't watch television...if someone talk about tv stars i can't argue at all;
3) i love listen to the radio (i have my favourit one...of course) and every kind of music;
4) if i could i'd live outdoor all year round; i love nature, plants, flowers, if I could have a garden it will be a jungle!
5) id'l like to have friends from all over the word...as i guess diversity (cultura, racial, mentality...) is a big richness that we should keep and exchange each other;
6) i can't stand violence, even the verbal one;
7) i am a gourmant: good food, good wine: i guess the way to my heart is close to my stomach! Best way to spend time with friends is around the table;
8) if i could i change home, furniture, decoration...more than I do!
9) i love reading books, many books, and after a shot period i forget almost everything, better, i mix plots, characters...in my mind i write a new one!
10) i love being in love...

I was not here for Easter

I was travelling in Italy, one of the thing I love the most...

good morning!

just woken up...still too tired, i need a coffe!

The antiquities market in S. Stefano square in a sunny sunday.

On wednesday when i open the window this is what i saw:
snow, cold, still full winter! It wasn't easy going out to work, but I had to.

So when I woke up yesterday and I saw it was sunny, a bright winter saturday, i must have a day out! First i strolled through Ravenna for a coffee and to see some shops. There where so many tourists...and lot of people just walking and enjoying the sun. Than i moved to the see, Marina di Ravenna for instance.



After lunch (fish...so good) i moved to a small village between Ravenna and Bologna: Bagnacavallo. I stopped for a babà (delicous) and a coffe and I took some pictures of this nice and old place.

And today still a nice day, so i'm doing some homework and than I'll deserve a promenade!
