Massi, macaroons are soooo good. But I would trade them in ANY day for a fresh "cornetto con crema" at any bar in Bologna or Florence or Milan or wherever in Italy. Cornetti are perfect, and I could eat 3 or 4 of them every morning, but it's a good thing I don't or I'd never be able to go back to Torre del Lago in the summertime!

Massi, it looks very good, but very different from what I know as a macaroon. I grew up in the southern US and down there they eat many kinds of coconut macaroons. What is in the macaroon you are eating?
Kyle it was an orange flavoured one. Actually here they are not so common. We have a very different pastry.
Coconut macaroons mast be delicious!
